A story involving a reporter, a farmer, a black cow, and a white cow.
A SHAGGY-DOG STORY: BLACK AND WHITE
One day, a reporter went to a farm to conduct an interview with a farmer.
Reporter: Do you have some time for a quick interview?
Farmer: Yes.
Reporter: I wanna ask how you take care of your cows. For my first question: Where do you clean them?
Farmer: The white one or the black one?
Reporter: The white one.
Farmer: On the river.
Reporter: How about the black one?
Farmer: On the river too.
Reporter: Umm, okay… What type of food do you feed them?
Farmer: The white one or the black one?
Reporter: The white one.
Farmer: Grass.
Reporter: The black one?
Farmer: Also grass.
Reporter: (Slightly annoyed) Where do they sleep?
Farmer: The white one or the black one?
Reporter: (Annoyed) The white one.
Farmer: Inside the barn.
Reporter: The black one?!
Farmer: Also inside the barn.
Reporter: Now, wait a minute! Why did you keep asking me which cow I was referring to when you just give the same answer?!
Farmer: Oh, about that… It’s because the white cow is mine.
Reporter: Oh, I see. How about the black one?
Farmer: Mine as well.
