Virtual is the word in this slightly surreal, but amusing story, published in Flash Fiction Magazine. Read it and LOL.
“The day I was fired I came home, undressed, and went to bed for five years.” This is how Carla Lancken starts her short story, about a woman who loses her job and takes virtual to a new high.
The woman gets 62 likes when she announces on Facebook that she plans to travel the world. She promises to post pictures of all the places she visits. And it virtually takes off from there.
Head over to Flash Fiction Magazine to find out what happens to her. You might also learn a thing or two from this story if you are struggling with your own short story endings.
