While Ultimate Gray + Illuminating was the Color of the Year 2021, Pantone has chosen PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri as their Color of Year 2022, a color “whose courageous presence encourages personal inventiveness and creativity.” This “blurple” color combines a blue hue with a violet-red undertone.
